Studying in Germany
Germany is internationally an attractive place for education and Research. Recently German government has taken initiatives to attract students from other countries. Many local universities started promoting their courses by travelling to various countries. Apart from Europe, now the new target is Asia - Pacific. One can easily find many Chineese, Indian and Asian students almost in every universities here. Germany offers a different type of education system for undergraduate and graduate studies. This system which Germany offers is very much different from British system. Undergraduate studies take 5 years in complete. It includes three semesters of practical training together with the normal class and exams. This degree is called 'Diplom' and it is more a less regarded as degree + Masters. Almost all the degree courses are offered in German. Unless you are fluent and good in German, it is hard to take up this challenge. Students planning to study in Germany must have at least little knowledge of German language. It is advisable, if students take up language courses either from any institutes or from web sites and learn basic communication. At University of Applied Science Esslingen offer three type of Masters Degree programme in english. Master of Business Administration in International Industrial Management, Master of Science in Automotive Engineering and Master of Science in Information Technology and Automation Systems. These are full time courses which need 12 to 18 months to finish. Usually there will be a practical training at the end of the semester where the students get real working experience in local environment.
